Modernizing our governance practices
In 2025, our board members continued the vital task of modernizing our
governance. Their work is mainly intended to ensure alignment between
the evolution of our organization and that of the Board of directors,
while supporting the implementation of our strategic plan and promoting our
long-term sustainability. This approach also allows us to meet our regulator’s
expectations in a thorough and proactive manner.
As the challenges facing our industry continue to grow—whether they involve
climate issues, reinsurance, digital transformation or artificial intelligence—
our Board of directors remains convinced that reshaping our governance
structure is essential to ensuring our success. Our courage and determination
to build a robust governance framework aligned with our mutualist model are
worth noting. After all, it is this mutuality that allows us to align our long-term
vision with our members’ current and future needs.
Throughout the year, our Board of directors met
regularly to ensure transparent and innovative
governance. While eight meetings were originally
scheduled, two additional meetings were held to
discuss our strategic planning and the modernization
of our governance. In addition, a tour of the mutual
companies’ Boards of directors helped to rally our
entire network behind the transformation of our
practices and to underscore our commitment to
excellence.
