What data does Appi collect?

Submitted by sebastien.paqu… on

To measure your driving habits, Appi records the following information:

  • Speed (met or exceeded)
  • Acceleration (smooth or sudden)
  • Braking (soft or hard)
  • Turns (smooth or sharp)
  • Distracted driving (using your cellphone while stopped or moving)
  • Travel times (night or day)
  • Roads used (highways or secondary roads)

Are all my trips measured?

Submitted by sebastien.paqu… on

Yes.

The Appi application collects your driving data on every trip. That’s why you need to always have your cellphone when you drive.

Remember: Distracted driving is one of the leading causes of accidents. We recommend stowing your cellphone somewhere you can’t reach so you won’t be tempted to use it while driving.
