Winter is for playing, especially in Portneuf. And since our playground is as big as nature itself, we’ve prepared a short list of our favourite places and activities. So grab your mitts and hold onto your hat. You won’t want to miss any of these!

Ski Saint-Raymond

The mountain is the perfect place for outdoor thrills with family and friends. Ski Saint-Raymond has eight ski runs for skiers of all levels and three inner tube runs. With mechanical lifts and indoor facilities, you can ski and slide without breaking a sweat.

 

Centre Dansereau

Centre Dansereau in Pont-Rouge has no less than 30 km of carefully maintained and marked cross-country ski trails. It has everything you need for the perfect sports outing: parking, a waxing room, equipment rentals, and more.

Did you know that the longest skating rink in North America is in Portneuf? Lace up your skates and head for Sept-Îles Lake to enjoy 13 km of skateways that volunteers have laid out just for you!

Vallée Bras-du-Nord

Vallée Bras-du-Nord is second to none for winter fun. This vast natural setting has 80 km of marked trails for hiking and snowshoeing, with yurts and shelters where you can warm up. An extraordinary winter experience to share with family and friends.

 

 

 

Centre Nature

Sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and fat biking

Centre Nature in Saint-Basile is THE place for a day filled with outdoor winter activities for the whole family, from sledding (with lift), snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing to fat biking and kicksledding. It’s the perfect destination with all the amenities, including a reception chalet, a dining area, a store, and equipment rentals.
