Fondation du Cégep de Drummondville recently handed out nearly $8,000 in scholarships to Cégep students at a special event with members of the college community and Foundation partners and representatives.
You may remember that Promutuel Insurance Centre-Sud became a gold partner of the new program in January 2020 with a $25,000 gift over five years to upgrade the Promutuel Insurance computer lab. The close partnership with the Foundation also includes $4,800 in student scholarships for the employability component.
With the relaxation of public health measures, the Foundation was also able to hold a ceremony for recipients who completed their first internships this summer. Our own summer intern, Danika Hébert, accepted a Promutuel Insurance scholarship of $2,400 over three years. We had the opportunity to deliver a personal message from our mutual. What a pleasure it was to see Danika again!
