Record $77,000 donated to Centre de Pédiatrie Sociale de la Haute-Yamaska

Bromont, October 28, 2025 - Nearly 120 directors, officers, and partners of Groupe Promutuel gathered yesterday at Château Bromont in the Eastern Townships to help raise funds for an organization. This annual fundraising event raised and donated a record $77,000 to Centre de pédiatrie sociale de la Haute-Yamaska, an achievement that is a source of deep satisfaction for the Québec insurer.

“I would like to thank all the participants for their tremendous generosity. Thanks to your contributions, the money raised will enable Centre de pédiatrie sociale de la Haute-Yamaska to continue its integrated social medicine approach, providing comprehensive and lasting medical, psychosocial, and legal support for children. Together, we’re helping to build a more just and more humane future for the youth in our community,” said Yvan Rose, president of Groupe Promutuel.

“Our traditional fundraiser is more than just an event: it’s a privileged opportunity to embody our core values of solidarity and commitment. Coming together to support such a vital cause reminds us that we can make a real difference by joining forces. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, vulnerable children, who will be tomorrow’s generation, will have a better future. I am honoured to contribute to this achievement,” added CEO Geneviève Fortier.

Every year, Promutuel Insurance organizes a fundraiser for an organization that works for the well-being of the community. The event rallies its directors, officers, and partners around a meaningful cause, with the goal of generating positive and lasting benefits. In 2025, the region served by Promutuel Insurance du Saint-Laurent aux Appalaches was at the heart of this effort.

“Welcoming our colleagues to our region for this fundraiser was a real source of pride. As a mutual insurance company with strong roots in our community, we are committed to actively contributing to the well-being of the people here,” said Martin Paquette, chairman of the board of directors of Promutuel Insurance du Saint-Laurent aux Appalaches. This event is a testament to our deep commitment to a cause that really matters to us,” added Anne Vaillancourt, executive director of the mutual insurance company.

Since it was created in 2018, Centre de pédiatrie sociale de la Haute-Yamaska has been supporting children and their families living in highly vulnerable situations. The organization helps them achieve their full potential and ensures their rights are respected.
