Before joining Promutuel Insurance as Senior Vice President – Legal and Corporate Affairs, François Paradis was a private practice lawyer. During this time, he embraced a rare opportunity for introspection: an 18-month trip abroad that gave him the time and perspective he needed to clarify his personal aspirations.

Travelling through 15 countries in Asia and Africa helped him reconnect with his core values:     “I want to help. I want to be part of the solution. Advising an organization and helping it make the right decision, that’s the kind of challenge that excites me most.”
Unknowingly, his search for a “long-term relationship” and his “desire to join a lasting organization” would eventually lead him to the country’s oldest mutual insurance company.
