Significant Donation to the Thetford Region Hospital Foundation

As part of the $2,000,000 community dividend granted by the Board of Directors of Promutuel Insurance du St-Laurent aux Appalaches during its Annual General Meeting last March, the Thetford Region Hospital Foundation received a donation of $100,000.

This contribution will go toward the purchase of a specialized medical device: a mobile fluoroscopy unit for the emergency department. This equipment will enable X-rays to be performed directly at the patient’s bedside, eliminating the need to move them from one department to another.

This gesture reflects our commitment to giving back to the community and supporting the essential players in the healthcare system who work every day for the well-being of the population.
