Presentation of a $175,000 donation to Maison Catherine de Longpré

As part of its $2,000,000 community dividend, Promutuel Insurance du St-Laurent aux Appalaches is pleased to have donated $175,000 to Maison Catherine de Longpré in Saint-Georges on June 18.

The funds will be used to provide the same specialized and personalized end-of-life care services at no cost to residents or their families. Chantal Roy, a damage insurance agent, was emotional as she explained that the contribution would have a “real and tangible impact.”

“This community dividend is more than just a number. It’s a way for us to thank the people who take care of our friends, our families, and our communities,” said Jules Génier, Board Member.

The donation is part of our desire to give back to the community and to support the key players in the health network who work hard every day for the well-being of the population. It reflects our deep commitment to being THERE for our neighbours in the community.
