Kaffé'yé

Remember back in 2021 when Association Renaissances des Appalaches got a $15,000 donation from the program “In the Heart of Your Community” so they could open a gift shop café? Well, there’s good news! Kaffé’yé café is now up and running!

You’ll find it on Rue Notre-Dame Ouest in Thetford Mines. It’s staffed by people with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder and gives them a place to work on their social skills and hold down a job. Forgot your lunch today? Stop by and give them some support. They’d be thrilled to see you!

As a mutual association, we’re proud to have helped with this exciting community-building new lunch spot. Congratulations to everyone who had a hand in it, and go Kaffé’yé!
