The Thetford Mines Festival Promutuel de la relève is the one festival with something for everyone, no matter what their age or taste in music.
This year’s festival–the 22nd edition–runs August 20 to 22, 2015. What does this have to do with us, you ask? Well, for starters, Promutuel Insurance is one of the main sponsors. Our name is even in the title: Festival Promutuel de la relève. And because it’s such an honour for us to support this event year after year. We're thrilled to contribute to the flurry of music and culture in the region!
2015: A bumper crop
This year’s Festival features some thirty concerts on three different stages right in the heart of downtown. There are plenty of sure bets, including great headliners and three alumni from The Voice who will play to adoring fans. But the Festival is also just the place to discover local, up-and-coming talent. Even young “stars” (age 12 to 17) will get a moment in the limelight.

- Country: Country: Rich Blend, Shania Twain, Fresh Horses (Tribute to Garth Brooks), and The Porters (Tribute to Johnny Cash)
- Rock and metal: MUSE, Offspring, Nickelback, and Ramstein
- Pop : Les BB seront en spectacle pour souligner leurs 25 ans ainsi que Dominique Fils-Aimé, Liana Bureau et GAYA.
- Blues: Jimmy James, Whisky Legs, and Carl Tremblay

- Meet the artists and craftspeople selling their fabulous wares along “Chemin des artisans.”
- o Keep the little ones happy with concerts for young audiences, workshops for budding magicians, and an inflatable playground.
- o And don’t forget the djembe jam for all on the main street!
